    the u.s footlocker 1943 dated

this is a shovel with a good story.. im not sure if it is real but it was given to me by a d-day survivor.. he was my mothers landlord, and found out i was interested in ww2, the next weekend my mother gave it to me. she said he was behind a truck that it fell out of. but it was not dirty or scratched from its fall on pavement. i personaly think he gave it to me out of his own gear ( athentic or not?)

    dress bayonet marked E.u.F. horster

the two bags are what i would like to know more about.. i found the one dated 1955 in my high school gym locker room... some one left it there witch means its up for grabs.. i played rock paper scisors for it

two bayonets.. sadly both are lonley without a matching scabbord but one with scabbord is waffen stamped like crazy

and then of corse the jack boots

Great deal on those boots, lange91!

Looks like a good shovel too! It should be dated on the spade end along or near the edge,
perhaps "AMES" and the date ? Your Horster dress bayo is in great shape as well. A nice example !

Also, I think your bag might be Danish.........

    Steve.

WWII era I'd guess, with the Chemical Corps logo.................
Usually there's a date and maker printed somewhere inconspicuously.
If there is no other markings inside or out, it's hard to be exact !
