Hi all, bought these patches of a chap who's sister collected them during the war any one want to see any close ups just say and if someone could tell me what the 3 red printed stripes be most grateful .Roger

The stripes are British service stripes worn on the cuff of the BD.

I think you got one stripe for every six months overseas. I could be wrong but i believe there were also blue stripes for wounds?

Thanks Ade and kc1 first time I've seen printed ones ,the pegs are nice too glue back with dull thread not the shiny thread.

I would think dark blue would be for dress uniform
