Nice Gary I absolutely love the different variations in color and construction found in the tropical DPM pattern

    Regards Mark

Many thanks Mark, the last set shown which is my favourite I bought as a set from ebay many years ago and interestingly is the oldest type being pre-metric , but was clearly used a lot later due to it's presence of the 13 Air Assault Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps TRF on the left sleeve, and the 16th Air Assault brigade badge on the right an example of how classically popular they are I guess, I am glad you have enjoyed looking at my DPM and will show more as and when the weather allows.

picked up a set of erdl trousers in dominant brown to match the shirt ,the label unfortunately has been removed and there are numerous field repairs here and there and a larger section below the wearers right pocket ,also a nice 2nd model ddpm bush hat with intergrated neck flap ,ideal for the weather we've been having lately Post 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 camsPost 1945 cams

Nice additions James the trousers look to be a really good match to the slant pocket shirt/jacket.

thats a relief to hear mark as im not fully clued up on erdl's camo it was a lucky purchase i guess ,a shame i cant date the trouser's due to the lack of label but still they show issued use which is good enough for me

Hi James I will have a look tonight I can probably date them to the years of issue through the pattern and construction with any luck.

mark i didnt realise it was possible to roughly date a pair by construction alone ,if you could that would be superb ,its the best chance ive got ,thanks very much in advance james

Nice one James, it is very difficult to match jackets and trousers so precisely as your set, in the photo's I can barely see any difference in fade and wear.Looks like they were always together

The S95 Desert hat is nice too, the velcro attached neck flap's are generally discarded, so good to see yet another matching item

Hi James no promises I will do my best and I do have a friend that is rather good with these as all he collects is Vietnam era camo I will see what he comes up with if I draw a blank

    Regards Mark
