Hi Camo Collectors, here I have two Tactical Load Carrying vests, the first one is MoD issue, the second is a commercially available item purchased by British troops and apparently favoured as it has more pouches and pockets also with the addition of a "Camelbak" pouch for water replenishment in the field. Both were worn in Afghanistan and Iraq respectively, thanks for looking and feel free to comment, Opex

Hi Camo Collectors, I thought I would share one of my all time favourite items/Patterns with you, this French Shelter half in Lizard Pattern is dated 1953,and is of the type that would have been used in Indo-China, though I doubt very much this one was used in this conflict,Opex

Nice shelter half Gary looks near mint and to have been stored away for years the color is quite vibrant and crisp and looks to show little or no use.

    Regards Mark

Many thanks Mark, and I agree this one has had very little use and never been washed so the colours are still very vibrant, it always amazes me when I look at the super shiny buttons which must have been a snipers delight!

    Thanks again buddy

Interesting-when Germans say 'Tropical' they really mean 'Subtropical'-you wouldn't wear that 2nd set in the jungle!

I could not agree more very reminiscent of a sub savanna or semi desert camo pattern.

Thanks commenting Lithgow, and I totally agree the material is very thick and would take an age to dry in a Jungle environment
