Hi Guys ! The Estonian set above prompted me to post
this unmarked camo jacket for ID. I've been meaning
to do so for quite a while. Hopefully someone will
    recognize it.........

There is a pocket on the upper right sleeve, and
what may have been a round patch on the left.
It has unique box stitching at the top
    of each shouder :

That pimpled effect can become very pronounced if the jacket is washed at too high a temperature, the cotton content in the cloth shrinks but the synthetic fibre that provides the rip stop does not!...

Many thanks for looking Paul, and your theory makes perfect sense, I have some DDPM examples of this model with the same "pimpled" effects

    Hi All

Reverting to Brit cams for a moment, here's my SAS smock and belt order. The smock dates from about 1980, the webbing is all dateable to 1979 or earlier. The drop ammo pouches are the SLR version. You can just see the altimeter pouch behind the 9mm Browning holster. I'm still short of an early escape pouch, hence the gap at the back. To finish off this set-up I have windproof trousers of about the same date, an undateable woolly hat of the right type, a 1979 dated para bergen, and some 70s German para boots, favoured by many of our troops in the Falklands campaign.
