I look forward to seeing this item, I was not aware Belgium supplied garments to West Germany, so this sounds like an exciting item especially in the Swiss camo pattern
I haven't had time to dig it out of the basement yet but I did find a couple of pictures of it on my computer. They are not the best but they are all I have right now. I will try to take some better pictures this weekend.

Same concept as the WW2 Brit tankers "Pixie Suit" re the extraction straps.
I thought all these Austria covers were tank suits but I may be incorrect on that.
    Here's mine,

    Attachment 789110

No extraction straps. Could the straps have been removed from later production runs as a cost cutting measure ?
The vast majority of the Austrian parkas were intended for foot sloggers and artillery etc, only limited numbers of the Kaz57 and the later Kaz59 were produced with the extraction handle for armoured troops!....

Nice early 70s set, going by the dotty camo on the smock and the low A/78 contract numbers, which I can also just about see on the lower right of the trouser label.

Cheers for that William1. Appreciate the info re the tags. Also thanks to you Gunny re the Austrian smock. I always thought it was a armoured crew garment.

These gents on WAF have done a great job on researching the Austrian KAZ57/59 garments. It's a real credit to all involved and worth a look.

    Default Croatian Woodland camoflague

Hi fellow collectors,I have finally through years of perseverance managed to source a full uniform set of Croatian Woodland pattern.
First up is the Coat ( very similar to the US M-65 coat in design) secondly the lightweight shirt and finally the Trousers ( again very similar to the US
M-65 Trousers in design),all in the Croat woodland pattern, the second to last picture hopefully shows the corresponding distinctive pattern ,all be it the colours are different for each garment, also note the labels which generally gives a clue to the origins i.e. the SIFRA manufacturer .

Whilst this camo is not rare it is however for me a satisfying collection as it took a number of years to source each individual piece to complete the set, thanks for looking

The Croatian woodland stuff was quite common in the UK a few years ago, i picked up a pair of the pants from a surplus dealer at a bike rally after i got really wet in a thunder storm. Very similar to the US BDU/M65, they could almost be the Yank stuff with Croat labels!...
