I've only ever photographed some of my US blades as a group.

Edged weapons are not an area I really focus on. So don't have much

    Default Polizei Führerdegen (Eickhorn)

    Hi,

Not really a "Edged Weapons" collector.
...but the design of the German Polizei Führerdegen is iconic - if you ask me

This one is in very good condition.
    ...scabbard with 98% original paint.
    ...blade in fantastic condition.
    ...great detail on the ferrule.

    Regards

    Nice thread Aldo!

What a nice collection do you all have, Great to see all these different knives together in one place.

My recently purchased knife, Dutch Stormdolk M1917 / Trench Knife.

Build in the early 1910's for WW1 at Artillerie-Inrichtingen Hembrug in Zaandam (Netherlands) and issued to the "Stormtroepen". It was never really used because of the neutral position of the Netherlands in this time.

Later it was reissued for WW2 and was used by many different positions and parts of the dutch army. Then after the caputilation many were taken by the Germans to be used in there equipment.
