Then schoene Fahrt and show us please what you find there. It was in Bratislava a couple of years ago that I saw the Czech Army Museum's Heydrich exhibit, which has far more authentic SS material than one can find in German museums, say, especially in the new one in Dresden or even the Zeughaus on the Linden.

I just noticed this thread--- There are some amazing examples of SS items
in your collections. I only have one piece. It was given to me as a Christmas gift
a year ago by my neighbor who liberated it.

It is a simple spoon liberated from the SS school at Bad Tolz.

stuka f,It is the most incredible site i have ever seen! Field marshals,great admirals,high ranking SS officers and much more are featured on this site.There is also a great article for the new collectors which is invalueable to read.Rommels tunics from museums,private collections,etc. are mind boggleing.I thought i was at the Imperial war museum,Hermanns Historica,and all the great collections.This is why we collect German memoribilla and wouldn't i like to see in person items that are priceless like this.Carl PS.Their is a part of this site devoted to Batons of the F.M.,Great admirals,and the Luftwaffe.
