But Pat, a pressing is a print! Don't get me wrong here, this a true artist's print which I would love to have in my collection, but many like it have also been printed, so it is not unique and is probably pressed/printed in a series. It is in no way a painting in the correct sense.

well thats unfortunate, I dont have it in hand and I wasent quite sure what pressure was, I didint know it meant pressing. its still very nice and very decorative and still suites this thread .
Thanks for the help Kenneth and I knew it would have been to good to be true at 27euro.....

anyone else have any artwork? I would still like to see them.

    cheers,
    pat

Pat, if this was an original painting of such high quality depicting war scenes of the period € 1000 wouldn't even get close to purchasing it. I like it a lot, Pat - I too have such artist's prints in my possession.

Very hard to say how old it is without having it in hand, but it might predate WWI. I wouldn't feel bad about this print at all, Pat - I would be very happy with it! Price wasn't too bad either.

    Nice prints, Kris!

Pat, I said it MIGHT predate WWI!!! I am not an expert with these issues and furthermore it is very hard to assess from dealer photos. It for sure does not look post-WWII at all.
