    The only one I own, my father, Anton Boos. If anyone can identify the sleeve patch, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi Ralph, this is an educated guess on your Dad's insignia. Looks like a "36...something." So that would give us:

    Südmark 360-368
    RAD-Abt. 1/364 Radkersburg (05.09.1944)
    RAD-Abt. 4/364 Gillersdorf 1944
    RAD-Abt. 4/365 Leibnitz (1939)

    2/256 was raised in July 1934. It was once located at Neu-Isenburg and at Hof (March 1939).
    This unit was granted the honor-name "Heinrich Grasmeher".

    Adrian: RAD-Abt. 5/253, the name "Gernot" was a granted honor-name. Given March 1941.

    RAD-Abt. 1/364 Radkersburg (05.09.1944). Was located at Hartberg in February 1939. Granted the honor-name "Ottokar Kernstock" in March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 2/364 Birkfeld (February 1939). Granted the honor-name "Peter Rossegger" in March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 3/364 location unknown. Granted the honor-name Jakob Bleyer in March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 4/364 Gillersdorf 1944 (since anyway February 1939). Granted the honor-name "Josef Kristandl" in March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 5/364 Was located February 1939 at Sebersdorf. Granted the honor-name "Grenzveste Riegersburg" March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 6/364 Bierbaum (February 1939). Granted the honor-name "Dr. Willibald Brodmann" in March 1941;
    RAD-Abt. 7/634 known as "Hufeland" in March 1941;
    Some of 365, as well as 360 though 363 are alo known to me and also 2/366 existed at Radkersburg (Febrary 1939)!
