    It would be interesting to have a peek at your rarest visor, from your private collection.

    While a Kavallrie visor is not necessarily rare, it is quite unique to have one with a Braunschweig skull and also one that was owned by a Knights Cross winner. So I would put this in the rare category...

    Mint like a dream! Could it be that this visor belonged to: Knight´s Cross recipient Hans Fielder?

    Write to the Deutsche Diensstelle in Berlin and or to the Zentrum fuer Militaergeschichte und Soziologie der Bundeswehr in Potsdam.

    Or, there are very good websites in Germany on the Wehrmacht, and also people who specialize in cavalry officers, in particular.
