About the wife; let me share a little secret with you guy's.
It is all about taking them as young as possible, and then tell here that all what it is that you are doing is quiet normal, because everybody does it!! (lol!!!)

while the wife was out shopping I did a little welding ....
that way she couldn't come ask me what I was making.
