When I was re-arranging the display lately, my wife stood there looking at me, she saw I was enjoying it!
When she asked if it was , I replyed that it was like decorating the christmas tree.
So she immediatly understood the feeling I had!!!

Guys, I'm gonna tell you the wife secret, and believe me mine was born in Poland and I have a bunch of german helmets from both world wars right in my office.. ok but here's the white elephant in the room.. Collect more stuff, especially art, and make the militaria display a small part of it..In the main rooms of the house, of have antique furniture, original oil paintings from 15-19th century, etching , prints and rare books..in my man cave.. I've got swords, every helmet you can imagine and war posters.. so here's my point, .. Not only to your wife, but most people outside this forum.. if you have nothing in your house but a corner full of German war helmets on a plywood shelf.. well people (wife included) are gonna think you are creepy, and that your some neo nazi obssesed weirdo...but then again.. what do I know...great collection by the way..
