I know some of us have had collections we have sold on for one reason or another.

Lets bring them back to life for Christmas!

Not so long ago I had a small Hitler Youth collection going on but my focus changed to EK's so it went

Always sad to get rid of collections, but any of us who have been collecting for any length of time have probably done it. My ex German and other medals collection (& some odds and ends), though it was bigger than this before I got rid of it, more EK's and others. I had 52 German & Axis medals before I stopped collecting them and sold them.

Sometimes it just has to be done so we can move on. At least we had them in our hands once and we could study them in real life

Nice collections. i sold off some of my carbine collection in 1980. I, too this day can't replace what I had sold. ( Rare Stuff in todays market) Wish I hadn't have sold it now. I know I shouldn't live in the past.

I've let go some of my fighting knife collection and a few russian rifles to fund other areas of collecting.

No, it's never easy to let any part of the collection go, but it sure is fun adding to it.
