The eBay gods have been kind to me recently and I have picked up a 1943 dated New Zealand made battledress blouse and an Australian made pair of battledress trousers dated 1942 for very reasonable prices. Both are of a large size so I've played dress up. Unfortunately the Denison smock and the beret are just slightly to small for the mannequin (he is about 6' 2" though)
Outstanding displays gents
Many years ago when the movie Is Paris Burning premiered in Kansas City, Mo I set up displays in a shopping mall across from one of the theaters showing it.
Many years later I did the same thing, but on a smaller scale for the premier of Enemy at the Gate in Colorado Springs, Colo. That one was in the theater lobby so I didn't have a lot of room.
Looks like this is the only photo I can find from either theater.
