    Hi

It was a mask worn by Tank Crews to stop them breathing in the small bits of metal which were created when a bullet hit the outside of the tank. It also protected their eyes from such splinters.

I can't imagine why tank crews in the First World War did what they did.
Driving in the slowest contraption in the world, while splinters bounce around the cramp, hot, noisy compartment. Madness.

I like the all the "headless" mannequins.
Not a fan of the facial expressions most mannequins can muster.

I think they wanted to escape the horrors of the trenches. Thank you for the compliment. I don't like looking at faces, I want the focus on the articles themselves.

    Looks really nice.
I have not created a manequin display for quite some time now.
If do a new, will have to be Japanese.
