    Hi Ade,
    Thank you for the advice
Something is chewing up aluminium from the inside and i want to do something about it. I think that citric acid will do the job what do you think Ade ?

    Hi Spotter
Yes we have WD40 but i did not know that it can stop old aluminum from rotting (it's worst than rust). Thanks a lot for the info.
    Regards from Poland

Hi adam heres a 1965 dated british flare cartridge i found at work a couple of years ago,It had started to rot with the usual white powder, as it wasnt a rare item i did give this a wipe over with some very fine wire wool to remove the dirt and grime then soaked it in wd40 for a couple of days ,as you can see the rot has stopped, ive used wd40 on several other aluminium items ive had in the past with good results
