Hi Guys, a friend of ours who runs the local British Legion and is actively involved with our local museum archive asked if we could help with a small RAF display to co-inside with the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

    Sharpe's Pottery Museum

I am not a big RAF collector, but agreed to help out. So this morning Lez and I put this display together with items from our collection. We are pleased with the results.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Robin. It was a fun couple of hours putting it together.

Another gent who is involved with the museum is bringing in a C type flying helmet and log book which belonged to a relative who was a "Tail end Charlie" (Rear Air Gunner) on Lancs. I am providing him with a glass head to display it on.

We met up with another older gent who it turns out collected German daggers until the fakes get better in the 1970's. So I am going to see his collection.

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi Ade, brilliant display. A glowing tribute to the many who gave their lives and for those lucky enough survive to be with us today. Will never forget their courage.
    Well done, Steve.

Never done a display in a museum before. It will be there for a month.

I have forgotten that I do have some other RAF items. So I may add a few more bits.

Turns out there is a job vacancy at the museum...

    Cheers, Ade.
