    Here are some items from my WW2 Japanese collection.

    This includes a standard army helmet with shrapnel damage, bayonet, map case, rising sun purse with Shinto talismans, personal effects bag, saki cups, saki tray, postcards, waterbottles (officers and other ranks types) paybooks, putees, thousand stitch belts, national flag and messtin.

    The close ups show a China campaign medal, soldiers helmet with shrapnel damage, and bayonet. Also a close up of the rising sun purse with tiny buddha, only 5mm high.

    Also in close up is the inscription on the back of a print and a banknote, (souvenirs taken by American soldiers), and a closeup of two paybooks with the obligatory message from the emperor printed in red.
