Some of my items in a Detolf vitrine
I just thought I should share a few shots of my items, in an new Detolf vitrine I got sometime ago. I've noticed some other members having it as well, so that gave me inspiration to acquire one too. I like the look of them a lot, sadly I noticed sometime ago, that one of the glasses had a large scratch on it .

Very nice! You have any photos of the whole display? I love the Detolf display cabinets, I have 2 myself.

Thank you Glenn! I can take one for you later. Detolf is perfect.

Yes, I think that they are rather nice TBH - I just have my stuff in a 1940's glass fronted oak book case that I found locally at a very good price. Bit of stripping back and some oiling and I have to say I'm rather happy with it.
I like the collection - any chance of having a look at the binos in a little more detail? They look remarkably well preserved.
Cheers

Thank you for your compliments Tim! I need to check out your display.
I made an thread, when I got the binoculars, it's here: Soviet Binoculars Dated 1932
Let me know, if you want more photos.

Many thanks for the link! Remarkable condition.
Any chance of being able to see the right optic that you talk of?
Very nice pick up and congrats!
Cheers

Thank you! I really like them too and that they are an war trophy. I didn't know they made this model already in 1932. I tried taking photos of the interior scale, but sadly it wouldn't capture them.

Nods - it is indeed a pity - but I can appreciate how hard it must be to get photos from such a piece.
