That is not true, youve got a lot of fake's in US WWI & WWII.
Their are more fake M42 jacket then their are real one's.
There is even a lot of US WWI in fake. jackets, helmets and a lot of other stuff.
But with the help of the right books, you can learn a lot and buy the good stuff.
I think that I am one of the few that collect US WWI. Not a lot of person are intrested in US WWI except me.
So if any one have's US WWI stuff, I am always intrested in it.

    Kind Regards Vincent
I agree with your statement to a point. Anything can and will be copied as in this advertisement.(repros) But on the whole there is a 'much larger' degree of WW2 German memorabilia (copies)that is encountered than most likely all the rest combined. This forum has many examples. It has a greater interest than most others including U.S. items. I am by no means an expert. I guess I go by what I have seen, read, encountered etc. It's where the money is. And U.S.A. stuff does not compare to WW2 German in purchase price. Perhaps in some weapons (Garand,1911a1 etc.) But then again there are more learned people on here that would disagree with me.

I think we are "off topic," I don't mind my posts being delated, or braught back to a new treath where we can discuss the point of copying.

I don't know about any posts that have been erased but I DO agree that a new thread be made perhaps 'exclusively' for U.S.A memorabilia. Really...who financed most Nations (allies of course)during WW2??? Not just $$$$ equipment but also blood. There is a big old list of Russian subjects.Good idea woodhatcher! Let's see if those in the power that be create one. (U.S.A. memorabilia)
