thanks friend there are some fake items its true but i am a new collector i started my collection for about 1 year and the strong of it is portuguese military items i have a lot to show

If you are a serious collector and want some serious advice and opinions on what you have Peter, you should post individual items in their respective forums where the members who specialise in certain areas can give you the best informed advice.

Please be aware that to amass this amount of fakes is quite some feat and if you have bought these as originals I suggest you don't get your money out any time soon but use the forum to study genuine period memorabilia.

If you have knowingly collected this amount of fakes and have it as your 'collection' you may be better served by going to a forum where the collection of reproductions is discussed, not a forum dedicated to original pieces of history.

The fantasy and fake items are best separated and kept in a box away from your original items. Fakes shown with originals taint your originals and you will have a tough time being taken seriously in a collector forum such as this showing reproductions and fantasies. Just some friendly advice. With what you may have spent on fantasy and fake you probably would have some very nice and very real items by now.

i would be generous to say the 5% of what has been posted is original, 95% fantasy or fake junk.

Peter, I hope you are aware that there are many fake pieces in your collection?

Wow...Where to start? I'd Seriously recommend that this entire group lot be carefully photographed with close up-front and back and assessed. I'm Certain that given enough time and effort, that this could be cleansed out of the dead wood and a decent collection would be left.

I went through very carefully and counted 5-6 original medals, 7 tinnies that might have a chance, 2 AB books that look ok , bayonets need a better look and the canteen. Paper items.... long shot but i would go with not good.
It would be best to add comments to the pictures and ask questions.
