Medall de la Vieja Guardia
I just acquired another Medal of the Old Guard with corresponding document book. These medals were issued to the original Falange members in good standing prior to the Spanish civil war. You can see from the photo that the medals were fairly crude with poor enameling. This one is in better condition than the other medal in my collection which is badly faded, worn and has a chip in the enamel. These are hard to find with accompanying documentation card, you usually find one or the other but rarely both together. Enjoy the pics, Al.

Great one, Aldo. Especially because it comes with the document book (this medal is in my "wanna buy" list for some time. Once it is not exactly cheap I guess it'll remain in the list…)

Thank you JMM. I got lucky with this one and found it on eBay for about half of what it’s worth. Keep looking you may yet find one at a reasonable price.

Nationalist aviation wing
Miniature Nationalist aviation wing.....Not sure if it's for collar insignia or cap device. Truth be told, I bought it thinking it was a full size wing. I didn't read the details that it's about 4.5 cm long. It makes for a nice display next to some of my other Spanish civil war insignia.
Regards, Al

I picked up a few more small items for my Spanish collection, a pair of post war Franco era Air Force badges. These are likely form late 40's or 1950's but still incorporate that great Franco era wing design. The red plastic oval is a Lieutenant rank breast badge for a field uniform and the other is an Air force academy instructor badge.

Republican Air Force Bullion Wings
I also managed to pick up this nice bullion Republican air wing. This makes a a nice addition to the anti Franco Republican forces part of my collection.
