Hi mates.
Thanks to an item put on sale today and investigating a little more, I found in the National Library of Spain (virtual) the Decree of 1937, which regulates everything related to the Social Service and makes a new reference to the badges.
I hope it helps.
I also send you the link to the text of the Regulation.
Best regards.
Regulation for the application of the Social Service of Spanish women.
First chapter
General rules
Article 1. The "Social Service" represents the participation
that the Spanish woman assumes in the task of rebuilding Spain......
I have read again that:
“The metal emblems of the Social Service of the Feminine Section of the Falange had three basic designs and a color code. The first model bore the yoke and the arrows and two "S" with two concentric golden ovals and brought a ribbon with pin. In the second model, the yoke and the arrows disappeared, as well as the ribbon, becoming a pin would continue the color code and the golden concentric ovals, and in the third and last model, unlike the previous ones, the edges disappear around the two S.
The color code indicated the grades reached in the course that was 3 months long”.
ART. 3. Certificates that demonstrate having complied with the Social Service "and the badges that will have the right to show women in possession of them, will be their title of roots in the new Spain, founded on the blood poured out by its best minds and m anneed for the unanimous collaboration of all in the tasks of justice and brotherhood.

[QUOTE=JMM;1674473] The men in the picture are not Guardia de Franco, but Civil Guards under the 1940 regulation, which unified the gendarme type unit with the Frontier Guards. The buckle in silver shoud be the 1938 eagle with. G and a C. These uniforms were discarded in 1943. All items from this regulation are extremely scarce today.
Sorry for the late reply but only now saw your posts, TABSTABS1964 and ASR. Thank you for the informations and corrections (didn't receive the mail alerts)
@ TABSTABS1964 - this is very useful information (would like to read more but can't open the BIBLIOTECA DIGITAL HISPANICA link). It would be interesting to know what levels were and the correct order of the colours (still looking for the white one without border…)
In the meantime found a ribbon badge at an affordable price (been looking for one for some time but they were a bit pricey)
Here it is the new "fellow" to add to the collection
"Vale Quien Sirve" (It's Worth Who Serves) sleeve patch
"Vale Quien Sirve" was OJE's motto and it's explained on their hymn with the same name
YouTube
VALE QUIEN SIRVE
Olarí,olará,
olarí, olará,
con el paso marcial
canto así al caminar
El alegre cantar
del soñar y el velar
olarí, olará,
olarí, olará.
Vale quien, sirve,
servir es un honor,
vale quien sirve
a España con amor.
Vale quien sirve
y esfuerza el corazón
luchando siempre
con fe y tesón.
León rampante es mi canción,
luchando siempre con fe y tesón.
Olarí, olará ...
Vale quién sirve,
se sirve al caminar,
vale quien sirve,
vivir siempre es velar,
vale quien sirve
y sirve con afán.
¡Arriba España!
es mi cantar.
León rampante es mi cantar
¡Arriba España!, con mi cantar.
Olarí, olará,
olarí, olará,
con el paso marcial
canto así al caminar.
Olarí, olará,
olarí, olará,
el alegre cantar
del soñar y el velar.

Good job. It is a very successful reconstruction.
Your collection is increasingly impressive.
JMM, your recreation looks fantastic. This thread and your excellent posts is what inspired me to collect more Spanish items and start my own thread. I also have one of the early shirts and reconstructed the uniform based on the diagrams you provided. i feel I need a beret and shorts now as well. Thanks and well done !
