same one goes for me! i try to buy cheap items for now and leave the big ones for the big collectors! sadly our hobby demands big wallet or big time digging battlefields! I balance between the two! Buying cheapos and digging at Crete!

Well, I think digging would be the most rewarding! I would love to do that one day. In the short term I'll just stick to IS Wright in Sydney. Not fool proof but still credible.

IS wright has some good stuff, but some of his more costly TR items are of question, Nice guy and good custom feedback.

Yeah I have heard the same about his high end stuff. At my level most stuff is clearly genuine however I was duped on an SS Gautag- apparently they are a fantasy piece. It was the only time did not check here on the board first. Lesson learnt.

    Hello Retrorock
Be careful with IS Wright. Lots of dubious items & totally ridiculous prices.
Try $200-300 for a party badge! I refuse to shop there.

    Regards

we all get burnt in the beginning, But yes have a look at some of the US dealers postage on small items is not much and you save a lot of money because Aus dealers use our isolation to drive up the prices. for example this "camo" helmet if u can call it that is listed at min-$1100 Crimson Mist Military Antiques "nice no messed with"
