Substantial collection Nick, when I come visit next July I am going to have a serious chat with your missus, as it's just not right to keep such treasures hidden in boxes.

Here's the public display I have of some of my collection thus far.

    TR collection

I have been slow and selective in bring new pieces into the light from the storeroom and drawer of secrets and so far my wife has only asked why the plates are displayed back-to-front. I think when tastefully displayed, our collections can and should be acceptable to our significant others. Perhaps you need a bigger house where you can devote a room to your 'office/man-cave'?

    Nick,
It's always a pleasure to see your collection.

    Glenn,
Good luck with the wife. Most of my collection remains hidden
with only a couple pieces on display.

I have spoken too soon! Only 2 hours ago she spotted the NSDAP kampfbind and a discussion started on the differences between the Heer and the Party. As a negotiation measure the NSDAP display has now taken up voluntary (temporary) residence in the lower section of the Detolf case. I am nothing if not diplomatic!

Very nice Nick. You are one of the nicest guys in the hobby and it's great to see your collection growing, even though you've moved on from Hitlerjugend. Well done.
Thank you for your kind words Darin!

I miss the HJ stuff, I may come back to it one day soon

The only issue I have with this post, is the lacking of a photo of the Reichsfeuerwehr-eherenzeichen 2.klasse you possess Nick! Show it off!
