"Try my Best" Display.

Hello Everyone. I am a sucker for antiques so I waited till a nice antique display thing came up instead of buying a new Ikea one or of some sort. Somone tried to do something to the inside but made a mess of it, so I spent the day fixing the Shelves, cleaning it, and my favorite part putting all the things in

Its not perfect, but I am trying my best.

By the way, it is not finished yet, I need to get a mat for the background. How does Dark green sound?

Very nice display, its great to reuse older pieces, they have character that modern pieces dont, I would consider a royal blue/navy for the mat, I ahve used a green for medal displays(Irish related items) but I thought the blue can look very classy as well.

Nice display Pat, You might consider a German flag as a backround. I have used flags as a backround for German and Japanese displays and they look very nice.

The bottem where the books go I am going to put more red cloth. Of a slightly lighter shade as the deeper one is too expensive.

I might try a red, or a blue.. The man said he has 60 different colours to choose from
