    Default USAAF Display

Hi everybody, just putting together a new USAAF display in my war room, thought I would share it.

The items include at left, an M3 flak helmet with goggles and A10 mask dated 1945, a late war bail -out oxygen tank, in middle a USAAF dead reckoning computer, a bombing mission flight plan, at right, an officers crush cap by Dobbs, ANB H1 headphones and A9 flying gloves. Any comments welcome. Doug

Now you need a nice sheepskin leather flying helmet to go with those gloves! Very nice display!

Thanks for the great comments everyone. William, I do have a A11 flying helmet under the flak helmet, you can see it in this picture. Jake, I am having to rotate displays due to limited space unfortunately. Otherwise it would be a museum by now!
