That original Irvin is super super cool Rene.
I have a very good book based on Leslie Irvins developmental work on parachutes.
"Sky High Irvin"the story of a parachute pioneer by Peter Hearn.
and forewarded by Sir Douglas Bader (who technicaly owed Irvin his life).
The top image is Jimmy Doolittle,another flyer saved by the Ervin chute who went on to greater things.
Those who survived a bail out with an Ervin chute in the early day's were all members of a club whose name evades me at the moment.
The last image is the Irvin chute factory at Letchwort UK in 1926.
