Hi Lancere,
So you meant that you used to be an Australian soldier in VN conflicts; it was great to me.Any interesting war stories of Binh Tuy province battlefield.
Thks Lancere
the baby monky was sitting on the M113 ??? there was probably a tank antenna?
Dear Gary J,
Now in Vietnam a few of people are dealing with dug relic items from local junk stores. Prices themselves go up to collectors. It's unbelievable !

the photo is from a dealer in the Middle area of VN
M60 now is $250, so stupid ! I bought it around $10 four years ago as no ones collected such an item though.
We often present such relics among us (VN collectors , not dealers ) with no selling & buying or collectibles exchanges ( cuz it's cheap ).

Hi Caymai,
my name is Dean and I live near London in England. I think the German guy you met was Arnie. I Know arnie. He use to come to a big military show in England but he has not attended for the last few years but I do know people who are in touch with him.
I know a friend of Arnie`s called Thomas who I am in contact with. I will contact Thomas and get Arnies details for you.
I have been collecting Vietnam militaria for over 15 years and collect U.S. Australian, New Zealand and ARVN items. I visited Vietnam with my two son`s in 2008. We loved the Country and managed to buy some great items. Visited Saigon, Long Tan battlefield and Nui Dat, Hue, and places along the DMZ including Khe Sanh. Will post some pictures of my collection in the future. I am new to the forum so not sure how to post pictures yet! Regards. Dean.
