Nice pics! What was the problem with the starter?
Lol, it wasn't the starter after all, it was the coil - we put in
a new one and it was faulty - likely from sitting on a shelf
for years - then tried another, and voila !
Compared to how the jeep started before - lol, or wouldn't
start - it's like a dream now.........!

Earlier today, I passed by my nephews house and gave him a great big hug !
I thanked him again for all his work on the jeep. (He mentioned that if I'd
taken it to a 'custom' place, they would have charged me $10,000 !)
At his request, I paid him about a third of what most pro shops
charge per hour, and he provided common parts he had
access to at cost.
Without his help and expertise, I'd still be wiping gasoline and
transmission fluid off my garage floor, stuck with a 'static'
jeep that goes nowhere.........!
