Al,

This is a remarkable grouping of items.. Some I have not seen before.. The Civil Defense is an area often forgotten by collectors..

You did very well..

My Grandfathers were both in the Civil Defense during WW2.. One and Air Raid Warden in Massachusetts and the other was a Coastal Warden in Maine.. I have some of their items (Helmet, ID card and reflective Sam Browne Belt)..

Thank you for sharing.. You should have no problems finding a decent Civil Defense Helmet..

Thank you gentlemen for the positive comments. For now the lot is relegated to a corner in a small book case with other miscellaneous items until I can clear room for a better display. I can see how this will mushroom into something bigger as I acquire a helmet and other accessories.
