Detecting tips for battlefield detecting

Dig,dig and dig, every signal. Keep noticing which signals you get and before you know it you ll have an idea what might lay under the soil. I am deeply impressed when I see my russian and latvian friends predict what the signal they get is,before they dig it and as said above,no steel capped boots or rings on the fingers

Would like to hear the experience of your friends, probably they worked out an approach to deal with the problem
