    Default Looking for any kind of tips on metal detecting.

    Im really looking for tips on gun relics, i want to get back to the forsts, farms. I also need some tips on how to clean my stuff and some battlefields around Overijssel. Look that up in google maps if you dont know the province. What metal detector should i use for finding gun relics? Love to get as much help as possible.

    Bas what are the Laws about Metal detecting and possessing relic weopons in the Netherlands and Overijssel ?

    You can own any kind of disabled weapon, you can only own shot bullets. There you go.

    OH and you cant own any bombs or explosives. Find a bomb in the ground that hasn't exploded yet? call the cops and they'll send a proffesional to disarm it.

    What i'm getting at is where is it legal to dig in the Netherlands , what permissions do you need to go onto public or private land and metal detect ?

    Ahh i see. When you go onto farmers land. Ask the farmer. When you go on the land the city owns you ask the official people of the town. (like the mayor or sumin')

    About the detector type. if you go for large items ,like guns, helmets ect. ect. a low frekvent decetor is good , i goes deeper the a high frekv. detector,the only problem about low frekv. is that you miss very small objects, and stay away from cheap discount detectors , you dont get anything out of them....
    i prefer a detector with display, but thats up too you
    the best battlefield detector on the market now is the XP 250, except i dont have any display.....IMO
