    This is a reproduction of one of the flags that flew over the Reichstag.. It reads..

    150th rifle division (awarded the order of)
    Kuthzov 2nd degree
    The division numbers are last and as follows.

    79th joint corps
    3rd shock army
    1st byelorussian front

    I don't read Russian but I did find the info on this for you.

    The cyrliic is originally in Bulgarian. Maybe some Bulgariski members can assist you on this one

    Found it! (as UKCOUSIN posted it)

    The Cyrillic inscription reads:

    150th Rifle, Order of Kutuzov 2nd class, Idritsa Division, 79th Rifle Corps, 3rd Shock Army, 1st Byelorussian Front.

    This is a very known banner.
    The veteran has on his wall a copy of the official VICTORY BANNER raised on the Reichstag by Egorov, Kantaria and Berest on 1 May 1945.

    There were raised several banners on Reichstag during the assault, but this one is considered to be official one.
