Is it possible to see the close up picture of the star
Regards,

I need to see a closer image of the star. Most larger red-painted stars were of postwar production - made in Germany for reparation.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Here's a close up
Absolutely... German made star...
Now that I look at the cap more carefully, it seems to me that it also looks German made judging from the type of chinstrap and the visor.
If there is a stamp inside, I'll bet it reads Robert Lubstein - Berlin (EREL). If it is unmarked, it could have been made by one of the other smaller hatmakers in Germany and Austria.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Thanks. No stamp inside. Here's a view.
Lovely cap...
Does the quality and material attributes look familiar compared to this one (except the red piping and black velvet band for Armor)?
Research up to now credits a private Austrian or German hatmaker for this piece, and IMO, probably your's also...
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
very much so...obviously from the same factory - looks like the same lining and sweatband.
Nice pieces.
