    That's because there's no such thing as an SS-Gebirgsjäger-Ersatz-Abteilung- I'm afraid it's a fake. The proper unit type is a Bataillon, not an Abteilung, and there wasn't one numbered 39. Plus an Umlaut is two dots, not just one- clearly whomever made this disc had no idea what he was doing.

    What a bizarre-looking tag...the entries don't make sense and I cannot reference the unit...Not for me, regardless of where or how someone says they found this...
