The first line reads, Panzer Pioneer Ersatz Battalion 208.
Stamm Kompanie 99.
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
thank you for the answer
Just to expand a bit on what Ralph said,
"Panzer Pioneer Ersatz Battalion 208. Stamm Kompanie 99."
I think he should have pointed out that the "99" refers to the individual soldiers roll number, there is only one "stamm Kompanie" in any given ersatz battalion.
Here it is:
Lexikon der Wehrmacht
You have to translate the page but that looks to be a good disk.
I will add that the B on each side of the disc indicates blood type. NH
Yes, I agree, although I am more used to seeing the roll number stamped like this one.
Erkennungsmarken and Pouch, 3 Inf. Ers. Btl. 471

Ralph- correct, this disk is stamped a bit oddly the one your referring to is "by the book".
