Not all SS EKM had a blood group on them !
Okay so both OP and responders think this is original , can you tell me why you think that ?

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

I am not a fan of this font, not a deal breaker by itself but there are some red flags on this tag in my opinion. I do not like the fact that the roll number and the unit appear to be the same font. I do not like the way the rust pattern appears around some of the letters. For me it just looks a bit suspicious. I think it also looks quite new, all the ridges around the stamping are pristine.
-
Sans serif font (while not a deal breaker in and of itself) is also a potential red flag in my book. The font itself (especially the R & G in 'RGT') are reminiscent of a fake font that Matt L showed once.
I would want to see similar confirmed examples of this unit's tags before laying down the bucks on this one.

I would not take this mark in my collection.
You do not like that throughout.
Plans were 2 divisions, but was placed just one department. There was not enough staff available.
The first division had 8 companies.
Personally, I am assuming that there were no marks of 4th Company.
Oh, and in April 1945 the regiment has shot down another 100 Russian tanks just outside Berlin.
-
From acute shortage of staff, the second department was not prepared. I am assuming that there were too few men and too little material was about the whole 8 companies set up.
-
As Eike said before this tag shows little sign of being 1943. I would ask for a refund.

Gentlemen you have spolied my original question !!!
I was hoping the OP would give an opinion as to why he thinks it is correct instead of asking for opinions with every post !!
I agree this has many red flags and is not of a format i have seen before . SS Panzer REGT 11 was never a Regt only an Abt until s SS Panzer Abt 503 became it's II Abt in 1945 .There was a i Abt in 1944 which was Panthers and had a 4th Kompanie.
