Were the Panzers not marked with three digit numbers?

As said it definitely is not a personal identity disc, and the clover is a well known good luck symbol but without evidence as to its history it is nigh on impossible to verify. To say it is private purchase is a catch all nebulous phrase which means nothing without documentary evidence to back it up. Till then it is a curio of unknown age.
