Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings

These items are pretty rare because there were only around 4000 men in all Estonian Sich. Gr-s. For me personally there tags are much more valuable than for example Estonian Legion tags. I mean the emotional value:-).
You are quite right , many collectors won't realise that they are rare and in fact much more collectable than SS Tags !! I managed to get four from the first dig , 2 to the 186 , 1 to the 181 and half a tag to Est Ers Sich Gr Narva

Well maybe they had at first very mixed uniforms. There were many self made armbands used in summer 1941. I also have not seen such armband before but if it is original, I quess it is from the early period in 1941.
