I cannot verify with 100% that it is good. On the plus side the roll number and the unit were stamped with different fonts this would be normal on an original disk.
Looks good to me. The only thing that might make it the target of the fakers is that of course it was part of the 60th Infantry Division, which was destroyed at Stalingrad. So any provenance as to where it came from might make all the difference.

Cheers guys, took a punt on it for £20, it comes with a few snap shots which may provide further info, i will put them up once it arrives.

Got a reply, i did not mention Russia, he has quoted "One thing I was told was that it was from the Russian front but I’ve not confirmed that "
based on the good close up image I believe it is original.
I agree, and if you got that and the photos for £20 then I think you have nothing to worry about and got a good deal. The photos are nothing spectacular but they do look original and as such you did OK.
