German Dog tag identification

these days appeared on the local market a german dog tag which I can not evaluate as I haven't seen until now anything similar. Can you tell me wherther is original or not, whose unit it belonged and how much would be worth paying for it?

I think that is a women's helper disk. I think they are signals helpers. I see a lot of them online for $15 to $30 or so. There have been a bunch on E-bay recently. I am sure original.

Thank you very much Eike41. So I guess it is not much of a business to buy it as long as the seller wants 32 $ for it.

A large number of these were found a couple of years ago. Many with consecutive numbers, probably as a result of not being issued. Initially they were selling for $45 upwards, but as Eike41 says they are not uncommon, so don't pay over the odds for it.
