The tag has issues in my opinion. The largest unit is the regiment, and the other numbers make no sense. It reads "1st Panzer Kompanie A. 4th Kompanie/Panzer Regiment 36 Roll Number 269" I would assume it is a fake. The layout and nomenclature are wrong.
The '6' in regiment and the stammrollen number '6' appear the same font, this is often a bad sign.
Mashed up. Attempting to denote kompanie, abteilung, Rgt. Its rubbish I'm afraid.
Okey..thanks for your opinions. Glad I didn't pay much for it, about 20e euros.
Got it from ebay (latvia). Now the same seller sells similar "wehrmacht" dog tags with text "close to original".
When I bought there was not that text..maybe he got some feedback.

How about these two dog tags, any signs of fakes?
You should start a new thread for these, it benefits everyone that way, and you will get more responses.
Look ok, the first one will be for the replacement kompanie for Infantry Regt 47, font is similar to others from the unit. Other one is from 4th batterie Art Regt 5.
Btw, if you Latvian seller is putting "close to original" in the descriptions then I would say that is a big red flag to buying them, unless you like buying copies.
Hey,
thanks for opinions and you are right Eike41, new thread would be better.
Yes, the latvian seller is now using the "close to orginal" text, but didn't use earlier when I bought my dog tag from him.
