Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Hi!
Yes, 211 was the Volksdeutsche from Romania within the 7. company found near Kinderheimhöhe. KASZNELL was KIA 16.01.44 at KOSHERIZY, he was probably left behind dead since WASt have written Grab Unbekannt.
Ah right i'm sure you will be correct Kasznell must have been left behind during the retreat to Jamburg and Narva , if you don't mind me asking how do you know about 211 ?
cheers
Paul

I have one Norge tag that was found at the Oraniumbaum Kessel.
It had belonged to a Volksdeutsche Paul Roth who was MIA at Kosherizy 15 January 1944. He was in the Rgt 23 1 Kp.
Here the Pic
That's one heck of a 'composite' disc- made using stamps from at least 3 different sets and perhaps more.
Were you present when the disc was found or know the person who found it so well as to be 100% sure he's being truthful about digging it up? Because many of those letters and numbers are curious...
Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
Looks to be a 'halo' around the upside down SS?
