+ Information

Am 3. Oktober 1939 erhielt das Regiment den Befehl mit der Division wieder in die Heimat zu verlegen. Bis zum 12. Oktober 1939 erreichten alle Einheiten ihren Friedenstandort. Im Oktober 1939 erhielt das Regiment das III. Bataillon vom Infanterie-Regiment (mot) 69 unter Major Richter zugeteilt. Ende November 1939 verlegte das Regiment mit der Division in den Raum um Dortmund.

*Summary
= 30.10.1939 - III./IR 69 von der 20. Infanterie-Division (mot.) kommt als III./SchtzRgt. 1 zur 1. Panzer-Division

I recently looked up the data...

Stab ≠ Stabskompanie (It's not the same thing)


'Stab' is organized in Bataillons and Regiments.
But the Infanterie Regiment 'III. Battaillons' does not have a 'Stabskompanie', Stabskompanie is only in Regiments and Ersatz-Bataillons.


So I think 'Stab' III Bataillon JR 69.. not 'Stabskompanie'.


+ Stabskp. at Btl. level could have existed however in Jäger -or Geb.Jg. Btls.,

Yes you are correct that this ekm would be for staff at the Bataillon level, not a Stabskompanie. Mia culpa. And of course there was no 69 Jäger Regiment.
