Sir, i'm still quite confident mine is a good oneas said, the man i bought it from has been digging for over 10 years. He has been selling a lot of his grounddugs. This was one of them. I know its hard to authenticate, but many things are.. I just don't think that therefor they're all fakes.. Greetings,matthias
Although I think both of the two last KL tags look convincing enough, just going by overall appearance, I won't go any further... too tricky this subject. I really only wanted to say that it's nice to see another collector posting one of the Gend. Adlerhorst tags on here --- got a rough one from this "hoard" myself a short while ago --- #1900
that's also a nice one! i know tags are so diffucult; but for me they are the most appealing items; the most 'personal' things you can collect. Most of them I buy directly from diggers; but as you say, it's so tricky if you're after the 'rare' ones. Next week I'll have one from the SS 'DF' with and unmarked back. yes indeed; dealer prices are sometimes over the top +500 euro for some units, really crazy ) and you often don't even know if it's a good one
