Very nice Tiger- the code 268495 is listed as 2./ Ergänzungs (K.G.) KJ - which might mean Ergänzungs-Kampfgruppe (J): Asisbiz history section Luftwaffe Unit Ergnzungskampfgruppe (J) or Ergänzungs-Kampfgeschwader (J) :Asisbiz history section Luftwaffe Unit Ergnzungskampfgeschwader (J)

Hi,

here are some pictures of two very interessting ID-Tag's. The first ID-Tag (Pic 1) is from the Wehrmacht but total different style and shape as the others. The second ID-Tag is a POW-Tag. Very interessting is the backside of the POW-Tag. There's a handmade/ handwritten inscription. Polish language. The two words "OJCZE NASZ" which means "Our father...(who art in heaven)". The two words are the beginning of the most famous roman catholic prayer. I think the prisoner put that inscription on his ID-Tag to be guarded by the holy father "to be under the umbrella of god".

nice pieces again... But concerning the first tag I think last letter is "l" not "b" and then it is Oberbaustelle 12....

I'm sure it's Oberbaustab 12. Last letter ist b not l. And the unit is from Wehrkreis XIII - that's my area. Everything fit's together. :-)
