My small Erkennungsmarken collection

Hello all! Thought I would show my small collection of German ID tags today. I believe the majority of these were found on the eastern front. There are some interesting tags in this group. There is a SS VT fragment, Stalag IA POW tag, hand engraved tag, and other random examples. Please let me know what you think.

Not quite all German, I think I see a Romanian half tag among your collection. Nice finds.

I really enjoy collecting these as well, but they tend to take over a collection like wild well fed rabbits!

So it was going on with me. At some point it was well over 1000 brands.
Today I have only 500 (or so) I do not know exactly.
