I think it's a little odd that there are SS runes lightly scratched on the bottom on both sides of the role number. Maybe an attempt to add value?

Looks like someone tried to scratch ss in each corner, good disk outside of that.

Yeah I noticed the slight SS scratches too. Who knows what goes through people's minds. This is my only Panzer grenadier disc I have at the moment. If I find another I may pick it up. I'm not a big collector of ID discs, but I have a handful of them.

This fellows roll # looks to be on the higher side of a replacement. Panzer grenadiers seemed to have suffered great losses as did the Wehrmacht infanteryman.
